Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school-based settings to support students in Scranton, PA, and surrounding areas. This contract position involves covering maternity leaves through August 7, 2026, with an immediate start date. Candidates with part-time availability are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders.
- Cover maternity leave assignments in Lackawanna County during the initial phase.
- Work with itinerant students in the Dunmore, PA area starting in the spring.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to support students communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation to meet school and state guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure.
- Proven school-based SLP experience.
- Ability to obtain and complete all required Pennsylvania clearances.
- Reliable transportation to travel between assigned locations.
- Availability for onsite work with no teletherapy (no VOCO) involved.
- Successful completion of interview via Zoom.
Details:
- Schedule: 35 hours per week, full-time preferred; part-time candidates accepted.
- Location: Scranton, PA region, including Lackawanna County and Dunmore.
- Contract to end August 7, 2026.
