Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is currently available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in a K-12 school setting in Pelahatchie, MS. This role offers a chance to support speech and language development within a school community, providing direct therapy to students under the guidance of educational protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid 215 certification as an SLP
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Ability to start ASAP and commit through the end of the school year

Job Details:

  • Contract position with a defined term through the school year
  • Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Location: Pelahatchie, MS school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance student communication skills
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and educational goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs
