Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Longmont, CO. This contract position involves working within a school district where the caseload is split across several buildings, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities include delivering direct therapy to students with speech-only needs, conducting speech and language evaluations, participating as an active member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team, and managing cases to ensure each student receives appropriate services. This role requires managing a small group of students exclusively focused on speech services, providing tailored interventions and supports to promote their communication skills.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or licensure suitable for school-based services
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working within a school setting with K-12 students
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Strong skills in case management and collaborative IEP team participation
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
