Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Fortson, GA, serving multiple school settings. This contract position offers flexibility, with part-time to full-time hours available (up to 37.5 hours per week), allowing you to tailor your schedule to meet district needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions to support student communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License.
- Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator Certification.
- Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) will be considered.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Must be available to work onsite; virtual or VOCO candidates will not be considered.
Location:This role is based onsite in Fortson, Georgia, servicing schools within the region to provide direct support to students.
