Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an on-site school location in Fairfield, ME, starting with the 2025/26 school year and extending through the 2026/27 school year. This contract role involves providing speech-language services to students in kindergarten through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
- Participate in meetings and professional development sessions as required
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-5
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an educational team
