A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Eugene, OR, providing onsite support through Lane Education Service District. This role covers leave through June 12, 2026, delivering vital speech and language services within a special education framework. The position is ideal for professionals experienced in working with a diverse student population, including those with moderate to severe disabilities and complex communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to students with a range of disabilities.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Utilize both low and high-tech augmentative communication systems to support student communication.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student records and progress reports.
  • Participate in behavior consultation and services for students with emotional/behavioral challenges as needed.
  • Adhere to all professional and ethical standards, including confidentiality and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience with moderate and severe disabilities strongly preferred.
  • Skilled in the use of augmentative communication systems.
  • Valid Oregon Drivers License.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • First Aid/CPR certification may be required.
