About the Role: Launch your school-based SLP career with Point Quest Group. As an SLP Clinical Fellow, you’ll provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students while completing your required Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under the guidance of a licensed CCC-SLP supervisor. You’ll conduct assessments, deliver direct therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families — gaining the hands-on school-based experience needed to earn your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and grow into a fully independent clinician.

Why Join Us:

  • Structured CFY supervision with experienced CCC-SLP mentors
  • CEU reimbursement and tuition assistance to support your licensure journey
  • Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)
  • Paid sick leave, holidays, and vacation
  • Clear upgrade path to full SLP rate upon CCC-SLP completion

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments under supervision of a licensed CCC-SLP; co-sign all evaluation reports and IEP documentation per Texas TDLR licensure requirements
  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute clinical observations and progress data
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support communication skill generalization
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, session data, and progress documentation
  • Complete and log CFY hours in accordance with ASHA and Texas TDLR requirements
  • Support SLPAs under the direction of your supervising CCC-SLP (if applicable)

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program
  • Current Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date) issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
  • Eligibility for ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CFY not yet completed)
  • Ability to obtain TEA fingerprint clearance (required for all Texas school personnel)
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

  • Practicum or externship experience in a school-based setting
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, ARD meetings, and special education compliance
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for communication disorders in school-age populations
  • Experience with school-based caseload management software
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
