Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with a 215 credential to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Morton, MS. The position is a contract role starting ASAP and continuing through the end of the current school year, offering a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours across five days per week.
Qualifications:
- Valid 215 certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services to support students' communication abilities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
