Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services. This role involves providing onsite support within an early childhood education setting, focusing on delivering quality speech and language interventions to students. The position is based in Wilmington, DE, with a full-time schedule during the 26/27 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their educational needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication plans.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and comply with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing supportive learning environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates at the Clinical Fellow level are not recommended for this role.
  • Experience working in school settings with early childhood populations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Reliable and committed to consistent attendance from August 19, 2026, through June 15, 2027.

Schedule and Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:25 a.m. to 3:55 p.m., with a 30-minute paid lunch.
  • Workweek totals 37.5 hours, based on the 25/26 school year calendar (hours subject to slight variation).
  • Position is onsite in Wilmington, DE; virtual work is not available.
