Description

Responsibilities:

• Operate/Drive a box truck delivering plants to stores on designated routes
• Load and unload products in an efficient and safe manner.
• Complete route sheets and maintain merchandise logs.
• Plan trips and routes in an effort to utilize time and fuel efficiently.
• Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding arrival, departures and trip interruptions when required.
• Inspect company vehicle, which includes checking tire pressure, fluids, and fuel, and reporting any issues immediately.
• Merchandise product racks at stores.
• Obey rules of the road and company regulations at all times.
• Running equipment in greenhouses (forklift, etc.)
• Help load daily route trucks with plants.

Requirements:

• Must have valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Must be able to pass drug test.
• Must be willing to work minimum 5-6 days a week

Experience:

• Experience with driving a box truck is a plus but not required.
• This job is seasonal but boasts a lot of hours during that time frame.
