Senior CNC Swiss Machinist Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

5+ years of Swiss lathe programming and setup experience
Direct experience with Citizen Swiss turning centers and ESPRIT CAM software
Ability to program both offline and on the machine
Experience with multi-axis Swiss machines (live tooling, sub-spindle, B-axis preferred)
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
Knowledge of metal properties (stainless, titanium, aluminum, etc.)
Experience in troubleshooting machining and tooling issues
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Close attention to detail and accuracy
Experience supervising or leading machinists (5+ team members)
ERP experience (Global Shop Solutions a plus)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Excel
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Perform complete machine setups from print to production
Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure safe machine operation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
