Senior Buyer - Logistics Capex

The Senior Buyer – Logistics Capex job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and lead the sourcing strategy and procurement process for logistics-related capital equipment
• Manage end-to-end RFQ (Request for Quotation) activities, including bid package development, supplier evaluations, cost analysis, and award recommendations
• Negotiate commercial terms, long-term agreements, service contracts, warranties, and cost‑reduction opportunities with global suppliers
• Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO), cost breakdowns, and supplier proposals to support business case development
• Partner with internal stakeholders to define technical requirements, timelines, and project budgets
• Oversee supplier performance, contract compliance, delivery schedules, and risk mitigation for assigned Capex projects
• Ensure adherence to internal purchasing policies, financial controls, Capex approval processes, and compliance guidelines
• Track project milestones, report status to leadership, and support phase‑gate and launch readiness activities
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure innovation, cost competitiveness, and reliable delivery
