Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school setting in Houston, TX. This opportunity requires working full-time hours from Monday to Friday with a focus on providing specialized speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students within the assigned school district.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and school personnel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure required.
- Experience providing therapy in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check as mandated by the school district.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to supporting students with speech and language needs.
Position Details:
- Location: Houston, TX
- Hours: 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours/week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 22, 2026
- Caseload: Assigned to one school
