Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with expertise in school settings, including SLPCCC certification. These positions serve elementary and middle school populations in Gary, IN, with assignments running from August 2026 to May 2027. Each role involves a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, offering caseloads of 45-55 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students.
- For the first SLP: cover one elementary and one middle school building.
- For the second SLP: cover two middle school buildings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable school policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working within school settings.
- Ability to manage caseloads between 45-55 students effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
