Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current certification (CCC-SLP) and school-based experience to support students in a unique educational setting in Ludlow, MA. The position runs from July 6, 2026, through August 7, 2026, with potential extension into the 2026-2027 school year based on performance.

This role is part-time, offering 15-20 hours per week across 2-3 days, serving a high school caseload within the Compass High Program. This program supports students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences in a specialized environment that emphasizes personalized instruction and skill development for independence. Experience providing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) services is preferred, though conducting AAC evaluations is not required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
  • Relevant state licensure and compliance with school-based requirements
  • Experience in school settings, preferably with high school students
  • Familiarity with AAC services for students with ASD or similar learning differences
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative educational program

Location:

  • Assignment based in Ludlow, MA; clients main office located in West Springfield, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy that aligns with IEP goals for high school students in a supportive, specialized setting
  • Collaborate with educational and support staff to tailor interventions to individual student needs
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and program regulations
