Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialized speech and language services for middle school students in a dynamic school environment. The role is itinerant, supporting two campuses with students in grades 6 through 8, serving approximately 100 students. This is a maternity leave coverage contract beginning early April and continuing through late May.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy to students, addressing a variety of communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with professional standards.
  • Conduct speech and language assessments and monitor student progress regularly.
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet the diverse needs of students across two campuses.

Qualifications:

  • Valid professional licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) required.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably grades 6-8.
  • Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites.
  • Successfully completed fingerprinting and background check.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Location & Schedule:

  • Position is based in San Antonio, TX, supporting two middle schools.
  • Full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract duration: April 1, 2026 to May 22, 2026.
