A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage at a public middle school in Anoka, MN. This role offers approximately 0.5 FTE, totaling about 18 hours per week, with a flexible schedule during the duty day hours of 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday. The coverage period extends from September 8 through early December 2026.

Responsibilities include delivering speech and language therapy services to middle school students, adhering to licensure guidelines, and collaborating with school staff to support student communication needs. Flexibility in scheduling is a key component, as the role may involve working half days Monday through Friday or a combination of two full days and one half day per week.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Minnesota.
  • Candidates holding the SLP-CF (Clinical Fellowship) or SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) credentials are encouraged to apply. District supervision will be provided.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly middle school students, is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educational teams.
