A school-based physical therapist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, providing therapy services to elementary students within a school setting. This contract position is located in Santa Ana, CA, and requires delivering specialized physical therapy interventions to support students educational and physical development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy evaluation, treatment, and documentation for an elementary-only caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other health professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to school-based therapy services
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with state licensure valid in California
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred, specifically with elementary-aged children
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IEP process
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexible start times (7:30 AM4:00 PM or 8:00 AM4:30 PM)
