Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized physical therapy services to a middle school student with a traumatic brain injury in a school setting. This contract position involves one-on-one care, approximately 1 to 2 hours per month, supporting the student's rehabilitation and functional goals.

Location:

• San Pablo, CA (near Oakland)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy or physical therapy assistant services tailored to a student with a traumatic brain injury
• Collaborate with school staff and family to develop and implement therapy plans
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication related to student care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with experience in pediatric or school-based therapy
• Familiarity with working in school environments
• Experience in neurological conditions, specifically traumatic brain injury, preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
