Job DescriptionDegree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available in Mount Gilead, OH, supporting a school setting with a focus on early childhood and elementary education. This role involves providing therapeutic services to students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade, helping them achieve their functional mobility and physical development goals within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of students in grades PK-5.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress and modify interventions as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Physical Therapy license is required.
- Experience working in school-based physical therapy is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of pediatric developmental stages and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to supporting children's physical needs within an educational setting.
Position Details:
- Full-time contract position.
- Two openings available.
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Early Start (ES) placement within the school.
- Located in Mount Gilead, Ohio.
