Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing occupational therapy services in a school setting located in San Luis, AZ, this contract position offers 20-30 hours per week. The role involves supporting a caseload of approximately 40 students requiring direct therapy services across six schools, with the expectation to visit one to two sites daily.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized occupational therapy to students primarily at the high school level
- Managing a caseload of 40 students with diverse needs
- Coordinating with school staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Adapting strategies to meet student needs in a dynamic school environment
- Filling the vacancy left by the recent resignation of the COTA
Desired experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based experience
- Ability to manage multiple school sites efficiently
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Flexibility in scheduling to cover different school locations
