This part-time Occupational Therapy role is based in Imperial, TX, serving a school setting with a caseload of approximately 40 students. Each student receives therapy sessions twice per month, providing a consistent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the educational environment. The assignment starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, ideal for practitioners interested in school-based Occupational Therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure or certification appropriate for school-based practice
  • Experience in Occupational Therapy within school settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students efficiently
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to students on the caseload twice monthly
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student participation and success

Schedule:

  • Part-time, approximately 2 days per month
