Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time Occupational Therapy role is based in Imperial, TX, serving a school setting with a caseload of approximately 40 students. Each student receives therapy sessions twice per month, providing a consistent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the educational environment. The assignment starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, ideal for practitioners interested in school-based Occupational Therapy.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure or certification appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience in Occupational Therapy within school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students efficiently
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide Occupational Therapy services to students on the caseload twice monthly
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student participation and success
Schedule:
- Part-time, approximately 2 days per month
