Providing occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment near Denver, Colorado, this full-time contract position offers a rewarding opportunity for skilled OTs dedicated to supporting K-12 students. Located approximately 35 minutes northeast of Denver in Hudson, CO, the role involves managing a caseload shared across multiple district buildings, promoting a diverse and engaging work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
- Collaborate with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who shares and supervises the caseload.
- Support students functional, developmental, and educational needs through individualized therapy plans.
- Coordinate with school staff, parents, and other therapists to facilitate student progress and inclusion.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license required.
- Certification of Eligibility (CDE) must be in process and active before the start of the upcoming school year.
- Experience delivering school-based occupational therapy services preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-building school district setting.
- Open and welcoming to travel therapists who are interested in the Denver area.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Hudson, CO, with a commute approximately 35 minutes northeast of Denver.
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week, aligned with the 20262027 school year calendar.
