Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available in the Hamilton, GA area, supporting school-based therapy services. This contract position offers a meaningful chance to impact students development and educational success within a dynamic school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students, tailoring interventions based on individual needs and educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and participation in school activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation, assessments, and reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Adapt therapy strategies to optimize functional abilities in the classroom and related environments
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Georgia OT license is required; COTAs with relevant school-based experience will also be considered
  • Minimum of one year of clinical occupational therapy experience preferred, especially working with pediatric populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt to changing district needs
  • Commitment to providing onsite services at designated school locations in the district region

Location & Contract Details:

  • Position based near Columbus, GA, with specific school locations to be determined
  • Contract duration: ASAP start through May 21, 2026
  • Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)
