Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Grandville, MI, serving the school setting with a focus on elementary aged students. This role involves providing specialized OT services to a caseload of approximately 50-60 students across various elementary school buildings. The position offers consistent hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a structured workday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to individual student needs within the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
• Manage a caseload of 50-60 students, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and progress reporting.
• Adapt therapy services to accommodate different elementary school settings and resources.
• Participate in meetings and communicate regularly with school personnel regarding student progress and goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for school-based therapy.
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting, preferably elementary education.
• Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage a medium to large caseload.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, parents, and administration.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple elementary school buildings as required.
