Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver occupational therapy services in a dynamic school setting providing support to students from multiple schools within the Gadsden, AZ area. This contract position offers 20-30 hours per week, focusing on delivering direct services to approximately 40 students. The role involves visiting 1-2 school sites daily, primarily serving a high school caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students requiring support
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student progress
  • Manage documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies
  • Coordinate services across up to 6 schools, ensuring effective caseload management
  • Support students functional participation and academic success through targeted therapy

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license or certification suitable for school settings
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments, particularly high school students
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students efficiently
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites daily
  • Familiarity with educational therapy protocols and regulatory requirements
