Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide onsite therapy services within a school setting near Columbus, GA. The position offers a contract through May 21, 2026, supporting student needs in a dynamic educational environment. Exact school placements will be determined based on candidate experience and district requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students within the school district.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address functional goals.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapy license required.
- Minimum of one year clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred.
- COTA candidates with school-based therapy experience will be prioritized.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to working onsite full time (37.5 hours per week).
Location:
- Onsite placement near Columbus, Georgia, within public school settings.
Working Hours:
- Full-time schedule, approximately 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
