Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available within a school setting located in Cleveland, OH. This contract role is designed for an experienced OT with a passion for supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position involves working 2.5 days per week, totaling 18.75 hours weekly, starting in March and continuing through the remainder of the school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25 students across K-12 grades
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on student progress
- Billing Medicaid for services rendered in compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Ohio
- Experience working in school-based OT settings
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Proficient in Medicaid billing procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
