Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Opportunities are available for Occupational Therapists to provide professional services within a school setting in Citrus Heights, CA. This contract position supports students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on enhancing their educational experiences through specialized OT interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans.
  • Monitor student progress and document therapeutic outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goals related to occupational therapy.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California is required.
  • Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans supporting educational goals.

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: July 1, 2026, through June 25, 2027.
  • Five openings available.
  • Full-time schedule, 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
