Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Occupational Therapist position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role is based in Carmichael, CA, offering a full-time schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week over five days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs across K-12 grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student performance and participation in educational activities.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory and district standards.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Occupational Therapy license in the state of California.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages and abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families and school personnel.
