Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Aurora, CO, supporting a K-8 caseload within a school setting. This contract position is ideal for professionals with a valid OT license who are passionate about delivering therapeutic services to support students developmental and functional goals during the academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8, focusing on enhancing their participation and performance in school activities
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Conduct assessments, track progress, and document all treatment outcomes in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning to support student success
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license valid in the state
• Experience working in educational settings, preferably with K-8 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to work onsite, committing to approximately 12 hours per week throughout the contract duration
