Occupational Therapist K-12 School (Onsite) Ann Arbor, MI

An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide services in a K-12 school setting in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This contract position is scheduled for the remainder of the current semester, with the possibility of extension into the next school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to support student development and participation in school activities
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to ensure optimal student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan
  • Experience working with children in a school environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of educational needs and legal requirements for school-based therapy
  • Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
