School Occupational Therapist - Aberdeen, Maryland

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in a school setting located in Aberdeen, MD, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This role offers an engaging environment where you can apply your skills in pediatric occupational therapy to support childrens developmental and educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and consultation within the school setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and school requirements
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials for school-based practice
• Experience working with children in a school environment, preferably K-12 age group
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to individual student needs
• Knowledge of educational and therapeutic standards and regulations in school settings

Position Details:

• Contract position starting ASAP through June 12, 2026
• Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
• Competitive pay rate of $50 per hour
• Location: Aberdeen, MD
