Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time counseling opportunity is available for a licensed professional counselor to provide comprehensive support services within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering direct counseling services to a manageable student caseload with an emphasis on group counseling. The position is based onsite in Midland, TX, and runs from mid-August 2026 through late May 2027, aligning with the academic calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 22 to 45 students, delivering individual and group counseling services
  • Develop and implement counseling plans aimed at students academic, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students overall well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies and confidentiality standards
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to the creation of a supportive school environment

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification is required
  • Experience in school counseling, particularly in group counseling settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads with professionalism and care
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical counseling practices

Location: Midland, TX
Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: August 18, 2026 May 26, 2027
Work Setting: Onsite only
