Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year at a school located in Wilmington, DE. This is an onsite, full-time contract position focused on supporting early childhood students with speech and language needs.

Location: Wilmington, DE
Position Type: Contract, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:25 AM 3:55 PM (30-minute paid lunch), approximately 37.5 hours per week
Duration: August 19, 2026 June 15, 2027
Caseload: Early Childhood students (specific caseload details provided upon inquiry)

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to early childhood students in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student records and therapy sessions
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
Qualifications:
  • Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist License (required for application)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered but this position is not recommended for CF candidates
  • Experience working in a school setting as an SLP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
