A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in Five Points, CA, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This opportunity begins in August, coinciding with the start of the school year, and continues through to the end of the academic year. The position offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and embraces a hybrid work model allowing 2-3 days remote to accommodate longer commutes.

Qualifications:

  • Active California SLP license required
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorder interventions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Flexibility to adapt to hybrid work schedules and caseload needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations related to special education and therapy services
