Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school located in Buckeye, AZ, serving students in grades K-8. This contract position offers a busy and rewarding caseload of approximately 80-85 students, with SLPA support to assist in delivering quality services. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, providing a consistent schedule for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-8 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation of student achievements and challenges.
- Utilize effective assessment and intervention strategies tailored to diverse student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License and IVP Card required.
- Candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) not under consideration at this time.
- Experience working within school settings and with school-age children is essential.
- Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality therapeutic practices.
