A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school located in Buckeye, AZ, serving students in grades K-8. This contract position offers a busy and rewarding caseload of approximately 80-85 students, with SLPA support to assist in delivering quality services. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, providing a consistent schedule for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to K-8 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
  • Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation of student achievements and challenges.
  • Utilize effective assessment and intervention strategies tailored to diverse student needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License and IVP Card required.
  • Candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) not under consideration at this time.
  • Experience working within school settings and with school-age children is essential.
  • Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality therapeutic practices.
