Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a middle school in Ann Arbor, MI. This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week, with work hours from 8:15 AM to 3:09 PM, starting April 15 through the end of the school year.

The caseload includes services for 57 students, with support from another on-site SLP assisting with testing. The environment features three Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms, making experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of middle school students
  • Collaborate with an on-site SLP to conduct assessments and testing
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Support students in ASD classrooms, utilizing AAC strategies where appropriate

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification or license appropriate for school settings
  • Experience working in schools, specifically with middle school students
  • Knowledge and skill in AAC methods and interventions, especially within ASD populations
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other service providers
