Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve students in Tampa, FL, through a contract position extending from ASAP to May 29, 2026. This role offers both full-time and part-time options, tailored to provide essential support in a school environment.
Location and Assignments:
Full-time professionals will be based primarily at Barrington Middle School, while part-time positions involve working in two locations: Plant City for one day and Brandon for another. This regional variety allows for dynamic engagement with diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to identify speech or language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions
- Maintain detailed records and documentation following district and state guidelines
- Support communication development for school-age children and adolescents
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, active and in good standing
- Experience working in school settings with children ranging from elementary to middle school age preferred
- Strong clinical skills in speech and language evaluation and therapy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
Additional Information:
- Contract role with flexible full-time or part-time schedules (.4 FTE available)
- Prescreen interviews will be conducted; candidates should be available between 9-11 AM or 2-3 PM EST for scheduling
