Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Meriden, CT, offering a contract position in a school setting. This role focuses on supporting students in developing or regaining speech functioning through evidence-based interventions.
Key responsibilities include assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determining appropriate treatment plans, and working collaboratively with teachers, direct staff, and interdisciplinary team members. The Speech-Language Pathologist will implement programs aligned with speech-language pathology methodologies to assist students in adjusting to disabilities and enhancing their communication skills.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid State of Connecticut Speech Pathology license is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credentials preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in an educational environment or working with individuals with disabilities in an instructional setting.
- Proficiency in administering assessments, interpreting outcomes, and developing individualized treatment plans.
