Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Hamilton, GA for a dedicated professional ready to support students within a school setting. This contract role offers flexible hours ranging from part-time to full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week), with a caseload tailored to your experience and the district's needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator Certification
- Candidates who are completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) will also be considered
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Onsite candidates only; virtual or telepractice applicants will not be considered
Location: Hamilton, GA
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
- Work directly with students in an onsite school environment
- Adjust therapy plans based on student progress and needs
