A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within the educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year in El Dorado County, California. This role involves supporting students across multiple school locations, with sites typically ranging from El Dorado Hills to Camino. The position demands flexibility with an itinerant schedule, as travel between sites and potential changes in assignments during the semester are expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students with mild to moderate caseloads, with occasional support for severe cases.
  • Provide direct support and collaborate with educators and support staff to address students communication needs.
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) onsite as necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with California SLP licensing requirements and utilize preferred experience with CA Schools and SEIS.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP preferred).
  • Experience working within a school setting, particularly with diverse caseloads including mild to moderate needs.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to varying assignments throughout the semester.
  • Prior experience with itinerant roles and California educational systems is highly desirable.

Location:

  • Positions are onsite within El Dorado County, with travel expected between school sites.
  • The area offers proximity to both Sacramento (approximately 45 minutes west) and Lake Tahoe (about 1.5 hours east).
