School-Based Physical Therapist - Coyanosa, TX

Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Physical Therapist is needed to provide specialized services in a school setting located in Coyanosa, TX. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with a small caseload of approximately seven students, delivering targeted therapy two days per week throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license and certifications as required by state regulations
• Previous experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within a school environment
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs

Job Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: End of School Year (EOSY)
• Schedule: 2 days per week
• Caseload: Approximately 7 students
• Setting: School-Based Physical Therapy

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat students requiring physical therapy interventions
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
