The role involves providing physical therapy interventions to approximately 1020 students across three schools within the division, ensuring students meet their physical development goals and improve functional mobility in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments to students across multiple schools
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to create and implement effective therapy plans
- Document student progress and update treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-based health programs
- Ensure compliance with Virginia licensure standards and school district policies
Qualifications:
- Virginia Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) credential required
- Experience working in school-based physical therapy preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently across several locations
