This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role for someone who thrives on building business from the ground up, solving operational problems, and closing high-value, custom solutions. Sales Manager – Industrial Automation & Custom Equipment Benefits Competitive base salary with uncapped commission structure (strong six-figure OTE) Company vehicle provided Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Long-term career growth with a stable, industry-leading organization Supportive, high-energy team culture that values performance and accountability Sales Manager – Industrial Automation & Custom Equipment Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8–10 outside sales professionals within a defined regional territory Personally prospect, open, and close new business through cold, in-person outreach and on-site discovery Partner with customers to understand operations and position custom, engineered solutions Participate directly in solution development, presentations, and complex financial negotiations Manage long, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders Set expectations for activity, pipeline management, and sales execution through example Sales Manager – Industrial Automation & Custom Equipment Requirements 1–5 years of experience in complex B2B sales, preferably within industrial, automation, or technical environments Proven success selling non-commoditized, custom or engineered solutions with long sales cycles Strong hunter mentality with comfort in cold calling and face-to-face prospecting Demonstrated leadership or player-coach experience Solid business and financial acumen with negotiation experience Willingness to work in-office, travel locally, and overnight approximately 15% of the time
