Job Summary and Qualifications

Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Texas Nursing Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process / outcomes for oncology patients with emphasis on blood cancer and disorders.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing 
  • · If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license 
  • · Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS ·
  •  Effective 10/01/23, American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within six months of hire or transfer Effective 10/01/23, ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required within 60 days of hire or transfer
