The Cardiovascular Paramedic will work within the clinic setting to support and provide excellent care to all Mercy Cardiology clinic patients. The Cardiovascular Paramedic will work in any assigned areas as well as in the Cardiology Stress Lab.

Mercy - Fort Smith - Schwarz Cardiology

Cardiac Paramedic Requirements:

Education: Successful completion of Paramedic training program.  Advanced ECG interpretation skills required.

Experience: Preferred Two (2) years' experience in a Cardiac Stress Lab (but not required) or two (2) years of hospital and/or pre-hospital experience.  Advanced ECG interpretation skills required.

Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: Current valid license in the applicable state of practice issued by the State Department of Health as a Paramedic.  Required: Current certification in Basic Life Support. ACLS

RN Requirements:
Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
