Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • Previous management experience in fine dining or upscale steakhouse environments
  • Strong leadership presence with polished, professional communication skills
  • Passion for training and motivating service teams to confidently present and sell wine and beverage offerings
  • Excellent guest service mindset and conflict-resolution skills
  • Understanding of front-of-house operations, labor scheduling, and cost controls
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts
  • Experience managing private dining and special events is a plus


Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills


  • Fine-dining steakhouse experience highly preferred
  • Experience educating teams about wine and beverage programs
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume atmosphere


Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Oversee all front-of-house operations to ensure luxury service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Lead, train, and inspire the service team to elevate sales, engagement, and guest education around wine and beverages
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, performance management, and team development
  • Manage opening, closing, cash handling, and daily reporting procedures
  • Engage directly with guests to address concerns and build loyalty
  • Partner with kitchen leadership for seamless service execution
  • Support private dining and special event service, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint
