Restaurant Front-of-House Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience (front-of-house preferred)
  • Eager to learn and progress in your hospitality leadership career
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, resilient presence on the floor
  • Ability to maintain composure and fairness when leading teams
  • Willingness to work restaurant hours, including days, nights, and weekends


Restaurant Front-of-House Manager Preferred Background & Skills


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Back-of-house experience or cross-training
  • Experience in scratch-made or high-volume hospitality concepts


Restaurant Front-of-House Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Oversee and lead all daily front-of-house operations with visible floor presence
  • Deliver attentive, authentic hospitality to every guest
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to uphold quality and service standards
  • Manage dining room organization, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere
  • Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and labor awareness
  • Collaborate with back-of-house leaders to ensure seamless service flow
  • Participate in onboarding and ongoing training of new staff
  • Step in to support the team wherever needed
