Frey Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team!

With a team of 7 experienced doctors and plans for continued growth, we offer comprehensive care in a modern setting equipped with 10 exam rooms and advanced technology such as ultrasound, endoscopy, laser therapy, and digital radiography. Our practice offers general medicine with additional advanced services in surgery and orthopedics, with a strong referral base in our local community.

- Provide exceptional patient and client care by ensuring an efficient exam room workflow.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records.
- Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients, answering questions with empathy and clarity.
- Support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient care and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation*: $18-$22 per hour, based on experience and skillset
- Bonus package: $2000 based on credentials
- CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter

Required qualifications and skillset:
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Iowa
- 3-5 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Anesthetic induction and monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assistance
- Dental prophy, radiology
- Patient handling and restraint
- Blood draws and processing labs
